This car will not murder your family. There are way more unsafe cars on the road than this thing.

I saw an e36 one time that was slammed on too stiff coilovers that the shock towers managed to separate from the apron.

Just because there are cars that are more unsafe on the road does not justify this being okay.

Running camber like that has a negative effect on handling and causes premature wear of parts. Also being as low as it is creates a hazard for other motorists as well. What happens if he comes upon some road debris? There’s no choice but to either slam on the brakes or swerve into a different lane. The only thing this car might be able to straddle would be a piece of paper.

Spares on the roof rack of a not off road car. That’s a new one.

Gotta have em when you wear down to the cords on a monthly basis.

Sure, it likely won’t murder my family.

I’m just not a huge fan of the look. I’m not even anti-stance. It can look very sleek to me in many instances. But the massively overstretched tires with negative offset wheels jutting out far past the fenders just isn’t my cup of tea.

Why even bother with the over-fenders? A couple more inches of garbage offset, and the edge of the stock fender would be totally inboard of the tires... and like magic, no rubbing.

I used to like this E36 back when I first saw those pics.

I’d keep the camber and stretched tires, and just buy wheels that fit the fenders

Clearly you’ve never been stuck behind one of these dipshits trying to merge on the freeway. Incredibly dangerous. Add to that the likelihood of something breaking because of the awful suspension and steering geometry. This may not be the most dangerous thing on the road but that doesn’t mean it deserves to be on the road endangering people.

Better hope he has good insurance, as when that thing breaks on the highway and takes out a bystander, daddy might not be able to pay the damages.

“This car will not murder your family.”

Guarantee that a stanced car likely has murdered someone. Stanced cars (assuming they aren’t bagged) are literally dangerous. Stretched tyres, mangled underbodies, inability to handle emergency maneuvers, and parts that could fail at any given moment.

Even donks and lifted trucks retain some semblance of a vehicle that can still somewhat do its job.

There is a proper and even safe way of doing stance. Stance can even look good. That car (along with most stanced cars) misses the mark.

The way I see it, lowering it that way will have no impact on that cars usefullness... absolutely none at all.

And it will IMPROVE its safety.
